New York Small Business Development Centers (NYSBDC) provide no-cost, confidential 1-on-1 business advisement, training, and business research to small business owners and entrepreneurs in New York. We are a joint federal and state economic development organization administered by the State University of New York that operates 19 regional business centers in all of New York’s ten economic development regions. Our centers, hosted at SUNY, CUNY, and Pace University, link higher education institutions to small businesses. Additionally, the SBDC has over 70 satellite locations with community partners like chambers of commerce, EDCs, IDAs, and incubators. It is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
