Legend has it the hunting lodge was established by Union troops circa 1860. Originally used as a traditional hunting lodge, storing the tools of the trade, over the years the lodge has also been used for making moonshine, cigar rolling, Spanish Flu quarantine, ceramics studio, munitions storage and code enforcement and finally a humble home.
