Parents of Addicted Loved Ones

Parents with an adult child dealing with substance use disorder involving either drugs or alcohol find hope and support through Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL). Meetings are available all over the country, and lives are being changed every day. It’s not an easy journey, but you don’t have to go it alone.

Companions on a Journey Grief Support

Companions on a Journey Grief Support, Inc. (COJ) offers support to anyone who has suffered the death of a loved one. At COJ, we believe that the journey of grief and loss is not meant to be walked alone. If you are seeking non-urgent grief support services, we invite you to call our COJ office during normal business hours (closed holidays).

Compassionate Friends

The mission of The Compassionate Friends: When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.

Co-Dependents Anonymous

Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships.

To light the way toward recovery for those with substance use and mental health disorders through education, advocacy, and the gift of hope.

Recovery Center of Hamilton County

RCHC is a mental health and wellness organization that helps aid in the mental health recovery of individuals in the Hamilton County area. We provide wellness-based classes everyday from 9:00am - 3:45pm. The RCHC takes a holistic approach to recovery by focusing on recovery education, physical wellness, computer skills development, creative expressions, job readiness, academic advancement, personal growth, support groups, and community involvement.

Goldstein Family Grief Center

The Goldstein Family Grief Center provides a place for people of all ages to share their feelings of loss, deal with their grief and learn to find joy in their lives again.

Fernside Center for Grieving Children

Fernside, established in 1986, as the nation's second oldest children's grief center, remains today a national leader in providing grief support services and outreach and education to the community and families. An affiliate of Hospice of Cincinnati, Fernside services compliment Hospice of Cincinnati's comprehensive bereavement program by addressing the unique needs of children. Fernside provides all services free of charge with the help of generous donors who support our mission.

Cincinnati Cremation Society

Cremation Society of Greater Cincinnati understands what a difficult time it is for family and friends when a loved one passes. This is too much for any person to handle alone. UC Stress Center

The Stress Center at UC Health is dedicated to caring for families living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our goal is to decrease the negative impact of PTSD and help local families resume a healthy life. We want to ensure families have access to the resources and support they need to cope after a traumatic event.

Eluna Network

The mission of Eluna is to support children and families impacted by grief or addiction. Our innovative resources and programs address the critical needs of children experiencing powerful, overwhelming and often confusing emotions associated with the death of someone close to them or substance abuse in their family. No child should have to face these struggles alone, and our unique programs bring kids together to ease their pain and provide the tools to help restore hope.

Hopeful Transitions is the leading provider of grief resources and information offering a wide variety of grief literature such as brochures, books and booklets.
