At 12Life Studios, we specialize in covering event videos & images for organizations and activities. We believe in community development, which is why we also offer our services to showcase the beauty of community through covering social activities for communities and organizations upon request. Sometimes, we even take the initiative to capture these moments ourselves. Our primary mission is to empower young individuals with a passion for photography, videography, and visual arts, offering personal development opportunities. With the slogan "Pouswiv rèv Ou" in Haitian Creole, which translates to "Pursue your dreams," our goal is to inspire youths to pursue their creative aspirations. The journey of 12Life Studios began when our founder JOVENEL PIERRE discovered the portrait mode feature on his iPhone 8 Plus, which he received as a gift on his 18th birthday in 2020 from his adopted family “ The Middletons “ from Auburn Alabama. Intrigued by the possibilities, he started experimenting with his phone, capturing incredible pictures and editing them on the go. Soon, he became the designated photographer for his school, using only his phone to capture stunning images. This hobby quickly transformed into a passion for serving others as he shared his free photos on the Instagram page he created, @12life_edits, along with inspiring captions. As time passed, other talented individuals like WILDERSON ORVIL, CLARVENS MICHEL along with DAVID THEBAUD JUNIOR joined the journey. They learned iPhone photography skills and developed their own expertise. Together, they expanded their repertoire to include video editing and animation, leading to the official establishment of 12Life Studios. This expansion was driven by the desire to broaden horizons, set goals, and define the vision of the studio. The name "12Life" represents our commitment to serving humanity in a Christlike manner. Our vision is to dispatch art enthusiasts on demand to showcase the beauty of nature and humanity. Being a part of the 12Life community means becoming a disciple, and through this, we aim to provide youth development and fulfillment while reshaping the narrative of Haiti by highlighting its mesmerizing and beautiful aspects. Although 12Life is not strictly a nonprofit organization, we warmly welcome all types of donations. These contributions help us equip our members, known as "12Lifers," with the necessary resources and training to capture stunning images of Haiti and its people. Moreover, it enables us to work towards replacing Haiti's current image on the internet with a new and positive perspective. In addition to our mission of empowerment, we strive to provide affordable photography and videography services for all. We believe that capturing and preserving meaningful moments should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial means. By offering these services, we aim to help individuals and organizations create lasting memories and share their stories with the world.
